The end of the 19th Annual Railway at War event hosted by the North York Moors Railway, attended by many thousands of visitors and local residents, many in period dress, came to an appropriate close with the handing back of the railway and the turning forward of the clocks to the present day. The ceremony was presided over by the General Manager of the Railway, Mr Philip Benham and the Commanding Officer of the Allied forces, Col. Ivan Baker.
See you next year !!!!!
